The BAR URUSHI is located near the Ebisu Shrine, a little further back from the busy street. Waking the narrow path in calm and quiet atmosphere, you will find our paper lantern. Our bar is on the second floor. You may feel little bit nervous with the tranquil atmosphere, but the friendly conversation with the bar owner will soon make you relaxed. The first glass with a casual conversation is the sign of the opening of the night.
This whiskey has been matured over an overwhelming amount of time and efforts.
Each amber colored drop has an abundance of flavor and aroma, reflecting its history and tradition.
About 100 years have passed since the birth of the Japanese whiskey, and it is now the most highly
regarded in the world. Japanese whiskeys, which are made by the delicacy and diligence of Japanese people,
have own story and drama. Therefore, we have many varieties of Japanese whisky.
At the BAR URUSHI, we are happy to find your favorite whiskey,
and to make various suggestions as following your favorite taste and flavor.
Each whiskey has its own character, and its taste will be changed according to the way of drink,
such as Straight, on the rocks, twice up, highball and cocktail.
And this is the most enjoyable point of whisky. For example, if you feel thirsty,
we recommend a highball (whisky and soda). Its clear taste and fresh flavor will
make you feel refreshed. And the duty of barman is to deliver what you want to drink deliciously.
From the west exit of the Ebisu Station, you walk through the busy street and see the quiet precinct of the Ebisu Shrine. You will never miss the small but powerful paper lantern, which is illuminating your feet. You will find the BAR URUSHI on the 2nd floor behind the shop curtain.
